What do most patients do wrong?

Dr. Ed Lowe: I don’t think people do anything wrong with their teeth, I think they’re just uninformed about what it takes to care of their teeth. And I think the best thing that you can do is the usual things. The standard things: See your dentist twice a year; every day brush and floss. I recommend using a tongue scraper because a lot of the plaque that is on your teeth is on your tongue, and use a mouthwash. And if you do those things then visit your dentist at least twice a year, you’re going to keep everything in pretty good shape, and if anything comes up: your dentist can head it off at the pass and refer you to the right place.
